Egg Toast 3 Ways

by - March 13, 2018

My kitchen never runs out of bread stock, cause I believe bread is one kind of survival food. You know, it can be eaten in many ways and some ways are super fast to prepare. Some other times, it's just good on its own.

However, there are days when breads are left inside the fridge and passing its expiry date. At the end of the day, you find it in the bin cause nobody feels like eating it.

Hold on a sec.

For the purpose of not wasting the bread and attracting my daughter, the picky eater of all time, I have come out with the super duper easy recipes - egg toasts!

Here are 3 ways of making egg toasts, my way:

1. Hard Boiled Egg Mayo Toast

Number one, the all time favorite hard boiled egg toast.

Just place the egg in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring the water to boil and turn off the heat. Let the egg sits in the hot water around 8 to 10 minutes.

Next, place the chopped egg into a bowl, stir in some mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Put everything onto a plain toast and it is ready to serve!

2. Avocado Toast with Egg

If you think hard boiled egg with mayo toast is too mainstream, why not try out this avocado toast with egg on top?

It is supposed to be a soft boiled egg on top but.....  nevermind.

Some times friends and families just pass by our house, knock on the door and we got no time to prepare for fancy food to serve them. If you wish to impress them with something pretty and super easy to make, just boil some eggs, throw few slices of bread into the toaster and cut avocados and cherry tomatoes. The next step, assemble everything according to your creativity, sprinkle some pepper on top and there you go!

Pretty, tasty, fulfilling toast!

3. Egg on Toast

My husband's favorite. Simple yet tasty and creamy.

Ready to serve in less than a minute!

Heat the pan, break the egg and top the egg with a slice of bread. Flip it over just to get the crunchy edges and within seconds, it is ready to serve.
