Hey, it's been a while.
My life, or in particular my work life has changed dramatically for the past 8 months. The first 2 months was tough for me - new culture, new working environment, new people, new KPI hahaha but yeah I survived!
It's normal when you join a new company, people will ask the reason you left your previous employment. I have given the same reason all this while, due to the distance. But hey, if they ask me now, I will confidently say I crave for changes and I'm glad I moved on. My previous company is good, but this one is better in many aspects!
I'm not complaining about my previous company though, in fact I'm always thankful for being part of the team before. I have learnt so much from my ex boss, ex colleagues and my job, but as I moved on I realize there is a bigger world I am yet to see outside. The experience I gained from my previous work that I carry with me alongside my career has been very useful. I got to share them with new people I meet and I got to learn from them at the same time.
Well, talking about changes - people say change is constant. It happens every day, every where, any how and to every one - it's inevitable. I'm not a kind of person who welcomes changes easily, but I have to force myself or else, I will always be in the same place doing the same thing while everything else around me changes. I will become older, my kids will grow up, and I hope, my life and my career will improve too.
To those who ask me (irl) when is the best time for them to find a new job, I would say, anytime... or when u need changes. You may find it in your current place, or you may find it somewhere else. Be brave, and make your first step.
Well, I have so much to say but for now, let me embrace this new work life.
